- Second consecutive state tournament appearance. Consecutive state tournament appearances: 1948-50 (3); 2005-07 (3); 2009-10 (2).
- Their first appearance was in 1948 where they lost to Happy Valley in the quarterfinals, 36-33.
- In 1949, they finished the year undefeated, (44-0), after defeating Dickson, Tennessee, and Dupont on their way to claiming the their first state championship.
- They won their third championship in 2013 after defeating Mt. Pleasant, Wartburg Central and Lake Co., finishing the season, (29-6).
- They finished as runners-up for the second time in 2019 after defeating Fayetteville and McKenzie before losing to Columbia Academy, 76-60.
- Their last appearance was in 2025 where they defeated North Greene before losing to Chattanooga Prep in the semifinals, 65-59.
