As his dedication and leadership qualities become apparent, Kessler transitions into pivotal administrative roles, including serving as the Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, and ultimately Principal of Bolivar Central High School, a position he holds with distinction for 17 years.

Throughout his tenure, Kessler's influence extends beyond the walls of Bolivar Central High School, significantly impacting the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA). His unwavering commitment is demonstrated through 17 years of service on the TSSAA Board of Control for the 7th Athletic District, where he also contributes as Vice-President for a decade. Moreover, his 23-year stint as Athletic Director at Bolivar Central High School underscores his dedication to fostering athletic excellence and sportsmanship.

Under Kessler's leadership, Bolivar Central High School becomes a notable contributor to the TSSAA Hall of Champions fund, thanks to benefit basketball games that raise more funds than any other member school. Furthermore, Kessler's role in directing numerous district and regional basketball tournaments exemplifies his commitment to enhancing the athletic experience for students and the community.
