In this role, he was instrumental in shaping the organization's future, introducing "Whistle Stops," a TSSAA News column still in publication today. His contributions extended beyond administrative tasks as he officiated at the college level and conducted hundreds of clinics across the state to enhance the quality of officiating in Tennessee.
